‘Solta O Frango’, which literally translates into ‘Release The Chickens’ but which means something different, by baile funkers Bonde Do Role (who we’re surprisingly on the Rolling Stone ‘10 Artists To Watch’ list) came out a while ago, but following the tracks inclusion in the recent Nokia ad campaign Domino are re-releasing it on September 3rd.
This time out it’s backed by a Bitchee Bitchee Ya Ya remix and Ladytron remix [here], which proves people in marketing and advertising have their uses, but as Bill Hicks said, they should still probably all kill themselves - only joking I studied A & M. As a bonus, here’s the crunky Crookers remix of ‘Gasolina’, meet me after school and I’ll beat you like gorilla.
