More music acts should have Thunder in their name, with the exception of denim clad poodle-rockers ‘Thunder’ and the laughable ‘Alabama Thunder Pussy’ it’s definitely under-utilised.
This is where Canadian duo Thunderheist come in, the Urban Dictionary describes Thunderheist as ‘the act of stealing ones thunder conveniently turned into a one word verb’ as in ‘you just got thunderheisted, bitches’.
Isis (words) and Grahm (beats) have been getting plenty of attention on the club scene and Diplo’s apparently a fan, but they’ve been getting little mention on the blogscene (read an interview here), although that looks all set to change.
