Following on from the Italo Disco and African releases Strut turns its attention to the Caribbean for ‘Calypsoul 70′, a complilation of crossover calypso, reggae, latin, afro and soul that emerged, often from small studio and label stables, during the ‘70s. The album is a valuable selection for diggers and is designed as an handy package for DJs with a host of playable tracks and rare cover versions.
